Simon Gudgeon and Anne-Sophie Gilloen

New arrivals from Rose Eva, Laura Boswell, Anne-Sophie Gilloen and Thomas Joynes plus a fabulous discount offer from Simon Gudgeon.

We are working on another new project in the gallery that will see us develop a new website with real time links to our stock. For this we will be asking for a little more data from you so that we send the right kind of information in the future.

We will send out a mailchimp newsletter as soon as the system is finalised, hopefully towards the end of this week. We expect for the system to be live in 3 to 4 weeks with the website following shortly afterwards.

Emerging Potters Exhibition

Emerging Potters Exhibition

After many hours of study and consideration we have made our selections for the forthcoming Exhibition for Emerging Potters. We have a selection of 30 artists all new to Bils & Rye. We are delighted in the quality of the work submitted and it was no easy task cutting it down to a manageable level for our first event of this type.

There is still heaps of work to do to get the show ready, but in the meantime, here are a few images of the successful entrants.

5 Weeks To Go!

5 Weeks To Go!

The countdown has begun, we are just 5 weeks away from our first grown up exhibition. The Harrogate International Visual Arts Expo will be held in the Harrogate International Centre Hall M from the 20th November to the 22nd November 2015.

Bils & Rye will occupy stands A1 & A2 to the left of the entrance. It's a mixed show with some galleries and some artists showing their wares. We will be bringing a broad selection from the gallery with some special stars coming in for the show.

You can expect to see them in the gallery thereafter. Over the next four weeks we will be introducing each of the artists via our newsletter, which can be signed up for here.

Delighted to announce we have six wonderful driftwood sculptures by the very talented and much copied Kirsty Elson. Her work has achieved a vast following over the last few years and it has taken us all of two years to secure these six pieces. Following a request from Kirsty, these pieces will not be available online but just to visitors to the gallery.
