For the last four years we have worked hard to bring new, exciting and technically advanced ceramics to the gallery from all over the UK and further afield. We currently hold an extensive stock of works that reflect the immense strength and depth in the ceramics field, all of which are hand-made by artisans that pride themselves on developing their skills.
New artists showing at the gallery now include Alex McCarthy and Daniel Smith. They are joined by Barbara Gittings, Julie Fewster, Babs Belshaw, Charlotte Pack, Anne-Marie Jacobs, Sarah Went, Jo Keogh, Rhian Jones, Judy McKenzie, Jessica Thorn and Alison Wren who we have retained following the Emerging Potters exhibition.
New works have arrived from the raku kilns of Stephen Murfitt and Carla Pownall and Richard Heeley has just submitted a fabulous body of work to add to those already in stock. Other artists in stock include Akiko Hirai, Tanya Gomez, Katharina Klug, Jeremy Nichols, Sarah Dunstan, Thomas Bohle, Albert Montserrat, Kate Schuricht, Chris Taylor, Sheila Madder, Rebecca Callis, Pauline Montgomery, Ann Goodfellow, James Hake, Midori Takaki and Chris Keenan.
Here is to the next four years being as exciting, invigorating and full of delightful ceramics from all over the globe! We have a number of exceptional artists lined up for 2017 and will be releasing details in the near future for our 2017 programme of events.
