Cambridge Art Fair 2016- the 4th edition!

Cambridge Art Fair, launched in 2013, is now an established part of the international art fairs calendar. Now in it's fourth year and proudly sponsored by Elms BMW Cambridge, the fair brings a fantastic selection of respected UK and international art galleries and dealers to the Guildhall, in the very heart of Cambridge.

"The combined knowledge and experience of the galleries exhibiting will ensure that you are able to find the perfect piece of original art to fall in love with."

One of the most famous and prestigious cities in the world, Cambridge is an extremely popular tourism destination and a world-renowned centre for learning. Cambridge Art Fair takes place in the Guildhall building at the very heart of the city centre, surrounded by the buzz from the Market Square and the main shopping area and just a few steps away from many of the most famous university buildings in the world.

We have a fantastic selection of art galleries and dealers taking part in Cambridge Art Fair, each showcasing an impressive variety of high quality work from their portfolios of artists from the UK and around the world.

The combined knowledge and experience of the galleries and dealers exhibiting at Cambridge Art Fair will ensure that you are able to find the perfect piece of original art to fall in love with, even if you don’t know what you are looking for yet!

erhaps you need to source a large, contemporary sculpture for your office reception, a series of classic modern art prints for your conference room, or perhaps a beautiful landscape painting for your home. Whatever your requirements, expert guidance and advice is available at Cambridge Art Fair from gallerists and dealers with many years experience.

In previous years we have been able to offer highly collectable work from the 20th century, including modern masters such as Picasso, Chagall & Dali, alongside contemporary work by some of today’s leading international artists, at a range of prices. Many of our exhibitors offer leasing packages for businesses and many more participate in the Arts Council ‘Own Art’ scheme so you can pay for the art you love by instalments.

Kate & Nick Bentley

Founders and owners of Bils & Rye Kate and Nick Bentley live for art. It is there passion, along with two daughters and two errant dogs.

Kate spent the last 10 years working as an artist, recently taking a break to spend more time in the gallery alongside home schooling her young daughters. Her work covered figurative through to seascapes and much in between and her last body of work was a series showing the diversity of Highland Cattle! She has a love of dogs, horses, chocolate and entertaining (not necessarily in that order). Her greatest influence has been her incredibly arty family.

Nick spent many years in a variety of careers including air traffic control, building, event management, catering and sales. Never has he been happier than running the gallery. He has no formal art training, preferring to believe in aesthetics and finish rather than theory. Outside of art and ceramics in particular, Nick loves motor racing, cricket, reading and eating out! Wine is also quite important.
